Mothers Day Tin Class

I went to the EFC with a crafty friend and we made a Mothers Day tin .The class was hosted by this lovely lady .I totally enjoyed a night out for crafty projects and some great chats . Sorry mom this is not for you .But don't worry a crafty project is coming your way .

The girls new wheels ...

Well we got our new wheels in for the girls . I love to bike !!!!! So how can I bike with both girls ...with a bike trailer .Got it love it and haven't used it with the bike yet but so far a 5 star from the Jones girls !!!!Addy likes to hang out and Izzy likes to catch some ZZZZZ's.Now I really want to order this .

My BIG girl

I have been going back looking at old pictures and I came across this photo of Addy walking last April at this time .She was so happy to have her baby and stroller outside for a walk . This year she is pushing her sister down the sidewalk instead of her baby !!! Oh how they grow up.

My new wheels

I got these great wheels . That I can live with since its not quite a mini van but not a full SUV either. So far I am loving it ! I love that we choose to have the sun roof option .I heart that its BLACK . It holds 7 which we won't out grow any time soon. It has XM radio which I wasn't sure of ,but found this station that I have really enjoyed so far .So far its a 5 star to me .

Happy Earth Day !!!

Some ways I plan to live a greener life on the farm !!!
1. Grow Garden
2.Add rain barrels
3.Clothes Line
4.Start a compost pile
5. Continue to recycle
6. Have a few more plants indoors since I have big huge windows.
7. Grow a HUGE pumpkin patch with the kids .
I really would like to pick up one of these some where.

We try to use as many green products for our home now !!

The Nerve

I had a interesting experience at Minot today .Shopping with Izzy minding our own business .I was checking out some sun glasses . Izzy was in her stroller and had been sitting in there the whole shopping experience at this point. While I was looking at glasses I heard some thunder from down under ,so i thought as soon as I am done pick out a pair of glasses we will stop at the nearest bathroom for a butt changing . So not quite made a decsion on THE sunglasses. Isabelle started to fuss.Really can you blame her shes now sitting in a dirty diaper . So I decided to get her out hold until I was down at least she would NOT be sitting in squishy dirty pants. So I held her and got her happy enough to finish up in the store. I had a woman not to far away chuckling . Then the following conversation happened .

Lady: first one

Me: Actually no. why???

Lady : Shes pretty spoiled wouldn't you say ?

Me: No . Why do you say that ?

Lady : she quit crying when you picked her up and cuddle her.

Me: Not spoiled. Actually has shitty drawers.

Lady :Well there is a bathroom right over there.

Me: Thanks .......(I continued finishing my task . )

What a pleasure she was too ???So glad I met her my life would not of been complete without that experience . Come on moms share your stories here about the people that should just mind there own business.

Approval!!!

I have always wanted to respect peoples privacy while having a blog . I really don't want to have pictures of people that do not want to be on the world wide web. So forgetting to ask my sister if it is OK to have pictures of her boys on here. It was just much easier to leave them off ,until I asked .BUT now that I got the approval .Here I go a few of my faves recent pictures of the Curries Boys .

DAY AWAY

I had a chance to get away well with Isabelle (the frozen milk supply is not very high yet saving it for a special escape )so I enjoyed a a chance to go crafting with my friend Jana at Regina SU Demo days that my upline puts on monthly . We had to hit the road early to make it to Regina by 9:30 am .Once we arrived to the city we took the long way to treat our selves to a Starbucks that was well deserved and the caffeine was much needed too.Was very skeptical to bring Isabelle along but she was amazing .WAY TO GO IZZY!It was great to have the girls there to take turns snuggling her . Jana just keeping the crafts rolling on by doing two to keep me caught up while tending to Isabelle. (that's what friends are for ). But for the most part Izzy sat in her bumbo on the table while we worked away . She has been teething so she spent some of her time chewing on her fist . On our way home I stopped in to here to pick up some teething toys.We got this ,this and this one being her favorite on the way home.

On such a beautiful day like today........

We like to hang out ,

Let our hair blow in the wind ,

Go for a cruise,

SOAK up the sun ,

Get dirty,

Head out for a stroll,

Have a siesta,

Then get all dressed up and go out.

Hanging with the Currie Boys

My sister asked to help her out and watch the boys . It was going to be through supper and Missy had everything for us to make pizza buns for supper. So I decided to get the kids to help with dessert ,so I had some fresh fruit in the house that i took along ,as fresh as it gets in Saskatchewan for this time of year anyhow . Raspberries ,blueberries ,kiwi ,strawberries and well canned oranges.We made Fruit pizza and it was super yummy !! It was fun having the kids able to help out . BIG thanks to Uncle Jeremy for being there to help out with Izzy so I could enjoy the time with Rhett ,Griffin and Addy together.They were very proud to be able to help out too .I love watching them put everything on just as I said to do it too. I told them NO eatting any until the end . It was very cute to see Griffin give Uncle Jeremy heck for having some fruit to snack on .I have not asked their parents to get THE permission to post pictures of them on my blog as of yet . But when I do/if i do I have some great pictures of my nephews to come .

RECIPE for the FRUIT PIZZA

INGREDIENTS:

1 C of all purpose flour (I used whole wheat )

1/4C confectioners' sugar

1/2C cold butter

1(8oz) pk of cream cheese

1/3C sugar(missy was out we used honey worked great)

1 t vanilla

Assorted fruit we used raspberries , blueberries , kiwi , strawberries and canned oranges

DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix the flour and sugar in a bowl then add cut up butter until crumbly .press onto a 12inch pizza pan and bake @ 350 for 10-12 minutes.Cool on wire rack.

2. In a small bowl mix cream cheese ,sugar (or my case honey)and vanilla. Once mixed well spread on crust then place assorted fruit on top .

3. ENJOY this was a great recipe to do with the kids .

1st Taste

I gave Izzy her first taste of cereal . She loved it so much we will give it to her every morning and before bed too . She was needing something more and this makes her happy ,which makes mommy happy too . Looks as if Addy just tried cereal for the first time too . What a messy girl !!!

Nature does not hurry,yet everything is accomplished .

Weighing IN .

We had Isabelle's two months needles , sadly happening at three months as she was very sick for the first appointment made. She weighed 9lbs 11ozs and measuring 22 3/4 inches. So she is growing much faster then her sister did. She was not a happy camper on the needle part ......Addyson did well too , as when Isabelle was sick she needed some blood work done .Addyson was not happy with that happening at all , she cried for her sister and didn't even cry for her own needles. I guess shes looking out for her little sis.

March I whipped through two books .

YES I know sad but totally true .I love Tori Spelling . I was 90210 watcher and she is the only one that I can continue to follow. I heart her reality show ,her kids clothing line and her books.

THREE months old

So I have been taking a picture of Isabelle in Addysons' chair that she got from Santa every month to see how she's grown . This time she did not want to lay down on the chair like the previous times .She wanted to sit up like a big girl .She indeed is growing .Also has been smiling cooing and and trying to rollover .

Last Easter at the Jones house

This will be our last Easter here at this house in Gainsborough ,so glad I got a few pictures of the kids . Daytons wearing pink and I had the girls in blue . I told Dayton real men could wear pink and actually he looks real good in the color anyhow. Had my family down for supper and a egg hunt of course.
