Last Day of School

 

CONGRATULATIONS ADDYSON !
YOU ARE DONE PRESCHOOL
FOREVER.

Addy had her last day of preschool and I really do not know where she will go from her as we depart to Australia sometime in October as at this point thinking we will not put her in kindergarten and thinking I can benefit from taking hours a day from my kids to help with the time change we will be making . But we will see I can have a change of heart but this is the direction we are leaning towards

 

Man I love this little lady so much .

She has had some great challenges this year not academic but more a social kinda way .

She was struggling and she made I to the end .

She holding her treats we made for each of her class mates.

It was a BIG team effort she even had her sister in on a job too !\I think they turned out great .

She requested to give freezies and I found this cute way of giving them .

I hope everyone enjoyed ! she was concerned about how many we gave each kid because some had one sibling and some had way more then one how would they ever share.

She worries about everything part of the problem of why she had trouble getting  through this year .

I suggested three she said but the kids with just two that doesn't work to share. so we settled on TWO

because the ones that have a one sibling could share and the ones that have more then one could cut them in half.

Thank goodness we had no one with 5 or more it could of been a big problem . \She also had concerns about how much money they cost each .

This is a new one . How much is that? That's a lot mom .

Problems I tell you ... but love her to pieces and honestly I wouldn't have it together if it wasn't for her someday too.

Well for some odd reason Our teacher gifts do not want to load and be on the BLOG today ! I will keep trying later on .

But we bought bamboo plants little glass vases and rocks .

Put it all together which Addy loved doing her self .

then we made a tag that said I was so LUCKY to have a teacher like you !

Easy , simple and very cheap if you have more then one teacher to gift too !

I bought our bamboo plants from IKEA along way back .

 

 

SO a HAPPY last day of school to everyone

Quick Update....

We have been busy .I have some many fun and exciting things to share  Here  is some of it in a nutshell.
We had a Mad Scientist party , we have had second week of swimming lessons,I have been to auction sales and thrift stores, still harvesting , revealed our summer secret this week (we have bought a cabin !!! yes one of our many dreams )  and I have took many pictures of it all that I will share really soon. But since this will be our FIRST weekend at the cabin I will share details sooner rather then later this time. BONUS of September coming near is we will be back to some of our many routines not sure if I am ready but it is coming up way too quick  . I have been up too many projects that got started and finished .I will be back to the grind of things by mid week as we are leaving today and coming home someday next week . But we have a few TLC projects to do at the cabin before we close the doors for next summer to come.

I was lucky enough to spend time with these four gems and that makes me HAPPY. I will be back to continue all the updates of our summer fun.

Back to School

NO ,no and no.
I am not ready for school yet . Or the regular pace of routine of life.UGH ! At the thought actually. But I love FREE and I love to share . So here's a great back to school printable . Happy Birthday Hubby !

To my best friend , my companion , to my lover , to the father of our children ,the dreamer , to everything you are to me and more. I know I do not give you all the credit you definitely deserve and I could praise you more for all the many little and big things you do for each of us.
I would like to embrace the quiet moments we have together and hold on tight for the wild , loud and crazy ones too . I want to dream big beside you . Discover the world together . I want to breath deep with you . I need to have you in our life for every day forward .I need the love you give me to keep me standing . I hope the walks we have last forever . I hope the sun shines through in the morning and moon peeks through at us ever evening in this home we created together . I love you for welcoming the "junk " I bring home covered in dust .I trust you are always thinking of what is best . I care that you work hard . I love the great pride you take in holding the girls hands to do a BIG job with you. I love that you believe in me , respect what I do and don't do and remember I am only a whisper away at the most . I love that you listen deeply . I believe that our BIG small and tiny kiss will  last forever .

I look at you with great pride , focus and comfort to know you stand beside me each day and together we will get our biggest wishes , dreams, hopes,and even though each step is never easy we will do it together and never give up on each other . I know we have big steps ahead in this story of ours and I look forward to do it all with you.I think we are the lucky ones. So here's to another year forward to spending it with you. happy birthday to you .........

My Farm Girl

You have been quite the farm girl these days. 

You get up before you even eat you get a t-shirt on and pull on your farm pants .

Just for the chance of not being ready when dad is ready to hit the combine . 

So these pants of been on you each and everyday .  

You have put in on a average of 8-14 hour days with your dad. 

(papa usually radios you before he leaves to see if you want to get a ride home and you radio back No .)

You take 1-2 books 

your lunch and water 

I quite often don't see you until morning as you are home by the time I have went to bed. 

You love the fact that dad and you have to have a shower when you get in .

You think thats so cool to have a shower so late. 

Your dad says you are the best lil partner to have in the combine . 

You sit contently

 telling stories, 

reading stories, 

singing , 

or 

just looking out the window . 

Your sister usually is with you during a few day light hours

 but you are in for the long haul . 

I am so grateful for this time I have to get this house back in order with one tiny tot home and usually napping .

I too can work like a work horse . 

Family

We had a family reunion a few weekends ago ....
It was so well organized and entertaining for all attending . these were a few of my favorite things .

 YES if you never heard of it before. Our family probably made it up . CHICKEN RACES.and indeed DMAN caught one.

 I can hardly believe my eyes not only did my girl get a tattoo ,but also got her face painted that is unheard of Izzy .

 Addy actually picked pink thats kinda Izzys color .

 Jumping in the bouncy castles . I am usually not a fan of these for this reason its yelling screamimg kids jumping around in a germ castle . LOL .

 Auntie got in some time to play with these cuties @ the park . We may or not of got grandma Rosie in the spinning tires there too . But no picture to prove it either way .

This family reunion rocked ! The entertainment was great and food was awesome . A great weekend in my books

How does it go ...

There is a saying that goes like this

But I believe you can tell a few things by the books a person reads.

AUGUST

August already . July has came and gone. just so quickly as every summer it happens . WE anticipated to slow the next one down just by alittle to capture and hold on to each moment. just a little while longer then we look up and we are to flip the page on the calendar yet again .
We have done alot of stuff this passed month and I fully intend to slow down just a lit bit this next month . WE have big surprises and fun things yet to happen . Hubby and I are taking in a few of his work trips in this month . One just to Winnipeg and then to Quebec City . We have  another week of swimming lessons happening . Two birthdays to celebrate in this household.(so that means I need to get my party hat on and get planning) I have a some dear friends and sisters birthday too this month as well so hopefully that may mean some supper nights out with the girls. Harvest has official started here .So many meals to the field and combine rides to be had by all . Maybe this month will not be so slow moving as per dreaming of.
BUT I am going to try my best at trying.

                                       (these are very good reasons to slow down )

I love you for everything you are and willing to do . Although you fully do not understand how important our day is tomorrow I love you for doing what we are about to do together , Someday you will understand and I do believe you will be proud of yourself then to be making such a BIG girl decision now.

Weekend FUN

We had a friends wedding to attend ,so we made a weekend of it . Aside from yesterdays events we decided to cancel some family photos and enjoy the day .
The kids lounged around .

We had friends come for a swim with us. This was so darn cute because they were looking out the window saying they can see the world.

We took in a walk down by the river , went shopping Addy and I picked up a pair of shoes then headed back for a nap and off to the wedding .

Here we all are . This was not the dress I wore all night . This was the one I didn't mind getting my crack sweat in during the outside ceremony .So sadly I did not get a picture of my other dress.

little MAN Party

Cannot have a party without the invite . We always send a email invite save the day and then receive formal invite in mail later .

Now the good stuff Party details.Just mentioning this will be a long post of all the fun details.

 We had some photo booth fun . You pick your stache and tie .

A party for me is not about turning another year older as much as it is celebrating the time that it took to get there.So I like to have a special spot set up that is a walk down memory lane . A look back at where you had gone to get where you are now. It these special moments that I like to spent time on doing . 

This was the set up on of his dresser pictures , bracelets from hospital , umbilical cord clip in jar , his wood truck from papa Ken ,his birth coin set ,teddy bear he received for a baby gift, and a old truck I use in his room to keep these special treasures.
