Little Man

Enjoy watching the kids play and then later will do what they do on your own .

Happy New Year !!

I would first like to say Welcome to 2012 .
And here we go again .... LOL
Seems as if I new year starts and we think it will all change and we can get all those things started ,finished , become someone new , do something new , change something around us or even ourselves so with that said . YES you can , but yes theres a but we have to be the ones to create the change in our our lives ...sadly but very true there is no New Year fairy that comes down on us sprinkling pixie dust on us too change . You have to want it bad enough to make it happen for you .
So yes you know me a list .
Here's my hopes .
-to keep beefing up my photography skills for myself (well and the perks of that happen to benefit my friends and family too )
-get daily physical activity in mine but hopefully my whole families life's too
-this is more of finishing off my turning 3o list but do train and do a 5k (thank goodness I suckered a friend into doing this with me as I think it keeps us both motivated )
-Enjoy my spring and summer on this farm (as this becomes our second year here I have not had the opportunity to take advantage fully of what my farm has to offer us for spring and summer )
-Memory keeping is my TOP priority this year and I know I do this in little ways but I mean big time this year as part of this I want to be in front of the camera too .(this summer with the birth of my son and possibility of not making it has effected my life greatly in a good way )
-another one that I would like me but as well as my family is to stop to smell the roses as they are passing by us alittle more often
-the best care of myself on a daily basis inside and out
So that is the basic list of things to do in 2012 !!!

Just a few things about me .

- list maker
- fave color is green and always has been
-ice cream is a guilty pleasure
-usually have my camera arms length away
-Love adding a piece of crazy or colorful jewellery to any outfit
-crazy party planning mama
- have good intentions
-definitely not afraid to speak my mind
-this is the longest I have had my hair in years
-my escape is a soak in a HOT tub with the doors locked and lights out
-treat myself to a cup of tea daily
-put my kids first
-pattern paper is my thing
-enjoyed playing with some fabric crafty projects
-favorite flower is daisies
-love to garden
-enjoying cutting grass
-dislike doing household chores as I think there should and are other priorities does not mean I am a slob just family comes first
-my mind works overtime most of the time .
-love my hubby a great deal even though I also slid him to second since the kids
-I love creating  crafty and artsy things but definitely have not gave myself much time to do it
-am 35 weeks into pregnancy #3 and its very much different this time around too
-shopping is not my favorite thing but its my organized thing listed by store and by item
-an early morning walks clears my mind and is so very relaxing to me .
- my hubby and I have enjoyed having a glass of wine or two with each other this is nice
-do not enjoy watching television I do do it but its not a need nor a want to me .
-I crank up the music loud in the truck like a teenage boy with new speakers its a guilty pleasure I have and drains out the children too
-reading is a hobby I wish had more time for
-typical a morning gal but also a night owl this can work out to be a disadvantage to me and catches up every now and then .
- love eating  fruit and veggies
-enjoy baking but don't usually eat it (beside when I am pregnant with a sweet tooth little boy )
- dislike chocolate only  have two chocolate favorites
-love to floss everyday
-both my girls have pierced ears and wear earrings every day I do not
-dog lover
- have very few friends but the ones I have are priceless and unconditional and who needs lots of friends when you have a sister anyways
-am the bad cop parent in the house .
-do not drink pop unless its in a mixed drink or there is absolutely nothing else to drink
-did not thing my choice of having another baby would be possibly taken away from me at the age 30

Things to DO in my 30th year ....yes 30 ( and all honesty I think it maybe my best year yet well maybe not starting out all peaches and cream like but I have big hopes for the rest of it  )
-to create a more productive & calm but still fun house hold
-do a online camera class
-journal daily for me
-family trip to Hawaii
-create family memory books
- take a monthly photo of self (full body )
-donate my hair
-date night with hubby monthly (this would be a great time to get that monthly self photo too)
-create a exercise program for self  for me to feel like me again or at least for me to  feel comfortable with (does that make any sense )
-get my craft studio up and running
-girls weekend away

Sad but very true I will be spending my 30th birthday in Brandon hospital . Whats a girl to do but take care of babe and me . I will be admitted first thing this morning and then I will go on to Winnipeg next Tuesday and find out more then . I am sure shortly after that I will be booked for a C section and will have a baby name to announce to you all for our little man . I have had a lot to soak in the last day or two . We were given the worst case scenario of possible delicate  C Section  surgery with a possible hysterectomy to be had at same time ,or to  bleed out and losing enough blood for both babe and me not to make it or possible just a normal placenta previa completely with no complications . Sitting in a hospital til a another picture can be done to rule out any dangers by a specialist seems like the best idea for now . Not ideal as I am a planner I had to scatter to find a home for my children with very busy family and friends but we got everything worked out . I must say we both have amazing families and are very lucky to have everyone live very close to us .As well as kick A$$ best friend that did not hesitate to mother my children until all our families could work out there schedules to be the most help to us . THANK YOU is not enough to all the help we will receiving in the weeks to come .
Happy Birthday to me still hoping to get a slice of cake and ice cream .

Baby days

Oh the sweet smells and cuddles of babies . I getting so ready and have been thinking about the girls when they were little too .I remember the the cuddles Addy loved  and she could lay on your chest all day long if you'd let her .

Addy got her ears pierced at 6 weeks old . I do not regret it for one minute .

Izzy well strange but true now that I think of it she had this purring sound that she made when she was sleeping like a kitty ,which is ironic now that I think about it as one of her favorite words are kitty kitty .

Izzy was so alert as a baby always wide eyed .

I am  looking forward to another little one in our house .I have so many things on my mind preparing for our little man . I wanted to share a few of my fave baby things / products that I {heart}
1. Grobag - having had winter babies that loved to be covered up but always kicking the blankets off then crying to get covered up again this was quite the treat .Great for camping as its a little sleeping bag and if child falls asleep in it and you have to travel it has the seat belt holes so you can keep them in it too

2. Skip Hop Diaper Bag - Perfect size love how its goes right over your shoulder and you still have two free hands .

3. Odourless Diaper Pail - Truly was a great diaper pail that it did not cost $$$$$ and no additional costs or parts

4. Baby K'Tan Baby carrier - once again I do not regret this purchase and used it often mostly while shopping and could quite comfortably breast feed while in carrier very comfortably

5. Zen collection cradle swing - LOVED for so many reasons the part where baby lies can lift off and be moved  to another room ,it would swing in both directions , It could be operated with batteries or plugged in loved that we would not be wasting so many batteries .

6. Bumbo - I enjoyed having our bumbo especially on camping trips

7. Stoke High chair - now this one is a investment cause $$$$$ but so worth it all our kids including the Dman used it as a toddler and can be used as a chair when we are all done with it for a high chair . Now this is not for you if you let your child fall asleep in the high chair which our children never did . I like how you push it up to the table they learn table manners really early .

8. Summer Infant Baby video monitor - Once again high end purchase $$$$ but we loved it  allowed us to have our room in the basement with baby's room on main floor and saved me alot of running up the stairs for no reason as well as allowed me to be at outside with the other two and could keep a close eye as well ear to what baby was doing .

9.Travel Bed- made by Eddie Bauer -    We had this thing with us to all hotels as well as camping very small portable and handy no where near as big as a play pen so had that much more trunk room which when you have more then one kid is always appreciated

10.So many things I am leaving out too . But somethings that come to mind are our one of kind bedding made by a local gal and my nursing cover that my sister made me .

Is it possible to have baby without these goodies heck yeah but it was sure nice to have it too . Obliviously we got to use it more then once too so always a added bonus . Most of the above was purchased with baby money given to us from grandparents and great grandparents as well as others . Or was received as a a gift which is always a nice gesture too .

Life List

So I found myself wanting to dig back to find my life list well here it is I was going to revamp /redo it but the more and more I thought I thought of it its PERFECT its me strange but true these are some of my wish I will do's . SO instead of retyping what I had I thought I will post what I already have.SO I did not edit any of what is listed below I worked on this list in 2010 and had intentions to post it on the New Year but still it sits and waits oh so lonely in my DRAFTS some of these did come off my and my hubby's bucket lists that we sat down and made together and then most of the rest is all me . To Post my LIFE List finally was encouraged by being a daily reader of Deeann and seeing her post her Life list made me revisit my own life list and as
Oprah says live your best life . So saying all that here it is people . So anything in blue is me now and the rest was history .

the new year is here SO lets Welcome TWENTY 11 by posting our wildest dreams , hopes and  life list . I have had a bucket list that Jeremy and I once upon a time put it together the two of us . But I want something alittle more maybe as reminder or a reflection of what we could do if we really wanted too .
So here is my life list in no particular order
learn to drive stick *run a 5 k and then a marathon *ride a street car in San Francisco*shoot a hand gun *go on a cruise with my family *learn to drive and operate a combine correctly *write everyday *donate my hair *swim with dolphins*ride in a hot air balloon *learn to make wine *visit Hong Kong *attend a luau @Hawaii *learn to really use my SLR camera *go parasailing *dog sledding *get a scrap book page published *volunteer at a soup kitchen during a holiday *send a birthday card to everyone I know and that means something to me for a year *try acupuncture*learn to braid my daughters hair*go on a  African safari*learn to really do the smoky eye make up and then really go out some where and party *make pasta from scratch *go to a psychic*meet Oprah *Buy a piece of art *make and eat home made ice cream with loved ones*create a outside oasis @ our farm for us to enjoy *learn to sew well and then make something that someone can actually wear *take a photography class*start and finish a 365 photo project *learn to golf and go out with my hubby *own a canoe and learn to row properly*give a $100 to a complete stranger *buy a cabin looking out to the water *build a tree house with and for my kids *throw a great surprise party for someone I love *go on a holiday for at least 7 days with my mom and sister somewhere hot *start a collection* raise chickens for fresh eggs *find and use a face treatment that will work for me and that I will use everyday too *to make our house a home completely that we will love to be in  and want to be in*Take my kids to a beach where the ocean  is * to have another baby or two (well one of those babies is on its way ....) *putting one of the many creative businesses I have in my head and going for it *Go on a all girls trip that last longer then a day or a weekend *snorkel* get my kids memory books started * Go on a honey moon with my husband some where exotic and just the two of us * Write a children's book and publish it *To get my craft studio up and running as a business* *Date night with hubby that actually makes the calendar and done once a month *
I am sure I will constantly add to this list and wonder why I put some of things on the list but something inside me wanted here to begin with and I will figure it all out one day or another . So here's to dreams , dares , challenges , fears , and stepping out  to whatever the future will bring .

FRESH week ahead .....

Starting the week early this monday morning with all the windows open and fresh country air blowing in . Just seen a herd of geese fly on by and two deer cross the road . Enjoyed the weekend warm weather but this nice weather does not suit all as Izzy's allergies have been put in over drive these days . So one under the weather girl but still making the most of it . Some fresh rhubarb sitting on my counter for some crumble muffins to be made . I sure enjoy our country life and what comes with it too . We have a grass pasture to use for animals but not ready for us to take that on for timing reasons yet ! But have some neighbours that have brought over there horses to enjoy the lush green grass that grows wild out there . So a peak out the back window and you can see horse running around . The novelty has not worn off forr the girls yet and maybe will not wear off I am not sure . Izzy new fave word has gone from Kittie Kittie to horsey quite fast .
Have promised to share our summer to do list and what better day to do that then warm sunshine day too .
So here it is . and this is where the idea sparked from check it out here .

It was made last year to be reusable .SO I had a huge old frame bonus was that it did not have real glass in it as the kids like to check it out often . I used leftover paper that was sitting around my craft room . Its a plastic over top of the paper then I use a sharpie for the writing then I can use a magic Mr. Clean eraser to wash off from year to year .

Today I also let the girls get there craft on this morning while I did up the dishes , so LOVE our keep busy box for the kitchen table .

Getter DONE !!!

There is so many things that still need to be done as much as I hate to see the rain today it did give a chance to kick my house chores in the a-- today !!! AS well as get some much needed tasks done too !

So todays list of things to do
- make a comfort meal for supper

- LAUNDRY
- dishes (was way too tired to deal with them last night )

- Use my blackberries up

- Plant my garden seeds and start in the house greenhouse .

- clean out the fridges
- get baby bassinet out and the bedding for it washed
- Do our summer to do list and hanging it up
- get blog partially caught up

Well not bad for a  days of work but I am pooped now . But I even managed to get two extra packages of meatballs done up for the freezer which is always a bonus I am always making extra stuff to freeze away so we have good & fast meals on hand . And really is ever possible to get all the laundry done and put away and not have a item in the hampers . PLEASE share details if you ever have managed this I would love to know how you do it .I still have a meeting tonite which is at 8 MB time in Saskatchewan which I have a 45 minute drive to get to it . UGH !!!!! But really want to be there to voice my opinion . Tomorrow I am on the carpool detail with a near by neighbour we take turns from week to week taking our girls to preschool .So we don't have to each go to town every wednesday it has been working great .I love it !! But tomorrow I may be dragging my behind out of bed to get on the road . I hope to have afternoon nap tomorrow maybe wishful thinking but all well . A girl can dream can't she ........

FAMILY RULES

I have found this great idea to post family rules VIA Pinterest . Although I did not want a frame version as they had posted . I had been working on a door project for awhile now and thought  that would be a the PERFECT spot for this . I had these little people since we lived in town and they had been packed up and brought along and finally decided this would be a great spot for them ,but since then our family has grown so on order through Stampin Up is Addy's NEW stick person . she should arrive on Friday and was added in for now I have hand drawn her in for now.

Door Project ~started by this door is here to stay until our next Reno begins which at this point I hope will not be for a year or two away but in the mean time I had this ugly door. So I had bought some chalk board paint and painted the steel door . So in the end I had a chalk board magnetic door to use for whatever . I then used some SU buttons and hot glued them to magnets . I knew that I was putting our stick people up on this door but after that . Well this family rules just came perfect to put up here for now anyhow .

Fun in SUMMER

Yes I know talking about summer when spring is barely hanging on by a thread these days.But I just found this great thing to add to our summer things to do list . I promise to share our summer things to do list this year we are just reusing the same project and just changing the list from last year . It was great for little reminders of all the little things and some big things we wanted to TRY to accomplish . But back to the summer memory keeping for kids I am {Heart} with the idea of this . My kids are very much crafty and love keep trinkets so what a great way for them to be creative all summer long . I am also in love with the Smash Journals too !!! This will rock !!! So if this interests any of you make sure to check it out .

What does it feel like when you're INSPIRED ????

I feel .......alive , energetic , passionate , electric , simple , incredible , buzzing , flow , connected , calm , powerful , joy , genius , renewal , amazing , soulful and full of goodness . That's how I have been feeling . I have got my crafty energy back and have been working up a storm . Everyday whether its a few minutes or a hour or two I have been spending time in my studio and its just been flowing out of me . I feel so ALIVE right now . Making the the time for me everyday for something I have a {LOVE} for has been making me a better mama and wife . So the sink has dishes in it and the laundry is overflowing the  basket ,so be it !!
Will share all my crafty projects real soon most of them right now are gifts for people around me .

She is our everything drives us crazy some days but would not give her up for the world . Hard to believe she was not on the charts as a baby and had some much trouble health wise ,but now she is doing great !!!

Top 10 Important things to ME .

TOP 10 things important to me and all that you have missed out since the last post .

1.FAMILY. I love when we are all together and cannot wait for our little man to arrive when hes suppose .

2. Friends. To have good ones that will do anything for you when needed and you can always have a good time with them

3.Moments. All the in between things that happen not the big things but the little ones .

4. Food good wholesome food and able to feed my family like I like too.

5.Fun, crafts, activities ,projects ,outdoors ,sports,school and all the good things we do  .

6.Time . The time we are given and what we do with it .

7.Home . That has been turning into a home not a house that someone else lived in but our home .

8.Photos . To capture most of these moments when we are all together .

9.Love . All the love that we get and give our children and also have surrounding us by others .

10. My husband. That stands by me in all these times when I am at my worst and best and he is still here with me .

These are all the things that I have been doing so pardon my absence .

But I am back .

Happy Earth Day !!!
