5 months

Little man that's right its your 5 month birthday today . You may kill me for taking these pictures of you someday ,but I will take my chances . I took pictures of you in a rocking Santa suit Grandma Rosie found for you . I hope each month to capture a picture of you that I can tell what the season was and time of year . So this seemed most fitting as it is so close to Christmas .

-love your morning cereal
-can hold your own morning bottle after cereal
-have cute dimples like your dad that I can see more now that you are smiling often
-enjoy the exersaucer
-have had prune apple juice for the obvious reasons
-not often grumpy but when you are its for a good reason
-no teeth yet
-have reached the 10 pound mark . Yippee!!! (that means a few people can leave your mama alone )
- love to be nude or at least your diaper off . I guess you like to have it hanging out . I will worry about that when you get much older .
-have been bathing in the big bath tub now
-have had your first cookie although I do not think it was you who had a bite out of it (you may of had help but no one that would admit to it )
-watch T.V your mama is not sure she likes this but you are entertained
This mama loves watching you grow please not too fast .

Santa Rocks

PAPA got the kids some holiday shirts this one was Addys . Post other two kidlets real soon as they suit them perfectly .

Tree Time

I love decorating the tree as do the girls and they are pretty good at it too . They tried spacing them out and making sure each one has the "perfect "spot just in case Santa sees it Addy would say .After school was done and the little kids had needles we pretty much spend the rest of day off and on decorating and redecorating the tree . Just a simple down day .

Busy

Started this week off busy . We headed out with the kids to Brandon to pick up our tree and suppose to get Santa pictures but we did not check on it prior and there was no Santa on Tuesday in Brandon , so the kids were told that he was sick . We went to our fave tree lot to pick up our tree and they did not have 12-13 foot tree for us as they did last year , so we had to settle with a 8-9 footer .What do you do ??This was not our day .
So we stopped in to pick up our fave drinks at Starbucks .Customer service is always Excellent here .The girls were really wanting chocolate milk which they don't have in cartoons there ,but the man behind the counter said no problem he easily good whip up to small chocolate milks .I enjoyed our drive home with my Starbucks in hand and a few good Christmas magazines too . A added treat was three sleeping children .Always a bonus .

I managed to get a photo of myself with the girls before we left in the morning that rarely happens .(me getting in front of the camera )Didn't turn out that bad either .

Grandmas are awesome

The girls stayed with my mom and dad while we were gone for the weekend.They made these crafty projects while there. Addy also came back home singing away Jingle bells and We wish you a Merry Christmas too . Thanks to Ma and Pa for watching the girls they had a blast .

First Santa Visit

The hubby , little man and I got a weekend away to Minneapolis this weekend . Our little man had his first experience with Santa .Santa apparently was staying at our hotel and visiting the kids that morning at breakfast he was pretty much wrapping it up and had time for one more visit with our little man.This Santa was mighty good I tell you !!!He wrapped Vann up in his coat and was talking to him and cuddled right up with while I snapped away with my camera. Most wonderful time of the year ......

Hello December !Here as always snuck up on us ,but I am most delighted I love Christmas and everything about it . The sights , sounds , smells of all that is to be had this month .

I {LOVE} smell of a real Christmas tree that's why I am stubborn and insist every year that we get one with all the work that it involves that just seems OK with me . I love driving around and seeing all the beautiful lights up .I so love the Christmas music all though I must say not being a "MALL"shopping I am missing out on all the festive tunes and kinda miss it . I have enjoyed doing 90%of my Christmas shopping online ,but you do miss out on some of the Holiday spirit. I do not mean the the pushing and shoving or the long lines to wait . I love some certain holiday treats too and sharing a big meal with family and friends who we usually do not make enough time to spent with during the rest of the year . This year I am adding a few more traditions to our family's holiday with a different twist for us on the Advent calendar .We are doing a few things to count down the holiday season this year . Last night I was up late getting all these goodies ready for today to surprise my munchkins.

I had purchased a play mobil advent calendar @ Chapters ,also had these boxes made with a kit Stampin Up had available last year which I left a to do in it such as take a drive and look at lights or make cookies then had a chocolate for each girl too . I also had wrapped Christmas books to unwrap and read each night . I love having traditions that we will do each and every year.
