Family

We had a family reunion a few weekends ago ....
It was so well organized and entertaining for all attending . these were a few of my favorite things .

 YES if you never heard of it before. Our family probably made it up . CHICKEN RACES.and indeed DMAN caught one.

 I can hardly believe my eyes not only did my girl get a tattoo ,but also got her face painted that is unheard of Izzy .

 Addy actually picked pink thats kinda Izzys color .

 Auntie got in some time to play with these cuties @ the park . We may or not of got grandma Rosie in the spinning tires there too . But no picture to prove it either way .

This family reunion rocked ! The entertainment was great and food was awesome . A great weekend in my books

AUGUST

August already . July has came and gone. just so quickly as every summer it happens . WE anticipated to slow the next one down just by alittle to capture and hold on to each moment. just a little while longer then we look up and we are to flip the page on the calendar yet again .
We have done alot of stuff this passed month and I fully intend to slow down just a lit bit this next month . WE have big surprises and fun things yet to happen . Hubby and I are taking in a few of his work trips in this month . One just to Winnipeg and then to Quebec City . We have  another week of swimming lessons happening . Two birthdays to celebrate in this household.(so that means I need to get my party hat on and get planning) I have a some dear friends and sisters birthday too this month as well so hopefully that may mean some supper nights out with the girls. Harvest has official started here .So many meals to the field and combine rides to be had by all . Maybe this month will not be so slow moving as per dreaming of.
BUT I am going to try my best at trying.

                                       (these are very good reasons to slow down )

Weekend FUN

We had a friends wedding to attend ,so we made a weekend of it . Aside from yesterdays events we decided to cancel some family photos and enjoy the day .
The kids lounged around .

We had friends come for a swim with us. This was so darn cute because they were looking out the window saying they can see the world.

We took in a walk down by the river , went shopping Addy and I picked up a pair of shoes then headed back for a nap and off to the wedding .

Here we all are . This was not the dress I wore all night . This was the one I didn't mind getting my crack sweat in during the outside ceremony .So sadly I did not get a picture of my other dress.

Somedays

I wish I can change it all.
This picture is not the best , but the story this picture holds for each of you @ this moment is totally different.
I will not drag this post out longer then it needs to be for you all .But for me this is apart of our life and  I am sure there is others that share days like these .
bitter sweet.......
I take a picture each and everytime Dman goes back home to his mom . This time Addy tried to hold her emotion in until after her big bro was gone. This day get tougher and tougher each and everyday our children get older . Addy had her biggest melt down ever today ..... then so did I .

How do you teach your  kids the pain of heart break . Broken heart is a something a mama cannot easily fix.As I have said many times on this BLOG . Please appreciate your children everyday for the simple acts and everyday moments .

Quick Trip

We took in a quick trip to the city before tomorrows birthday party for last minute food prep stuff and some last minute decor. details from Value Village .
So here was a quick snap at Super Store parking lot. HAHAHA. I drive my kids crazy wait til you get older children you will really appreciate my snap happy fingers at any given moment .

What's Cooking - Wednesday

Today the Big kids had Literacy class . So Addy goes in morning and Dman goes in afternoon. Although Addy had a play date in afternoon. So that made a free afternoon for mom and the little kids. Its been a while since I had a few hours just for them I must admit it was very nice. We spend some time at the library then headed to the park. 

You two loved having moms FULL attention .

well a tough day at the play park would have any girls shorts hanging low. 

Finally the what's Cooking portion of this post . PIZZA a family fave . I had made the dough the night before  the kids pretty much did the rest sauce ,meat ,mushrooms , green peppers , fresh herbs , and cheese ...wait that was my toppings they are boring cheese and meat . Have to point out that just as our preheat oven beeped at us our power went out . We did find out that a  transformer blew so that left us to BBQ the pizza which is always yummy. 

BEing ANT

to a niece is so much different then to nephews . Love to beable to hand down my girls clothes to someone I will love just as much . I totally loved taking pictures of this beautiful girl .

Seriously the cutest wrinkly feet I ever seen in my life . I just want to nibble on them . They are so frinkin sweet !!

Vann is exactly 2 months and one day older then Emery what a amazing thing to do with my sister ....... again . Yes this is the second time we had a baby very close together what awesome thing to share with your sister and give to our kids as well as a cousin so close .

Loving the look on Addy's face the smile ,dimples showing through her cheeks and her shiny eyes sparkling.She's so proud and happy to have another girl join the family other then a sister . When Addy first so a picture of Emery in the morning she said she looks so soft . Jeremy and I smiled then she said I will never say soft again . We told her it was OK we just thought it was cute that she said that and not wrong . When we first saw Emery in the hospital Addy said can I pet her . That's what she said when she first saw her little brother too . Then she pets the top of their head . The things kids say and the way they can read your expressions without you saying a word. Love kids they make life worth it !!!

I love having friend that is so talented and she just happened to have a free day open so gave us a shout to say she had a spot for us to get some pictures done . Now what does a mom that just had a baby and did a HUGE clean sweep of her wardrobe during nesting time wearing to a last minute photo shoot plain not too showy clothes but a big bold colorful necklace that will distract the eye from the belly . YUP ... that definely works .

He does not cry for much but diaper changes and burps . He hangs out , eats , sleeps , poops and pees , and loves to be cuddled or in his swing or .....well ....pretty much any where actually . This little man is giving mom a much deserved break and being one quite content and happy dude .

SURVIVED ....

I have survived a near month of a hospital stay ,but have made it home . Which is amazing feeling I have so many things that I need and want to share with that I have lived , thought about ,are grateful for , need to get off my chest and have experienced , but most importantly . I am home with our little man .Introducing Vann Edward Jones . So sorry no pictures to post yet as this is my first online experience and still building up my energy from my hospital stay . BUT we are happy to stay we brought home a healthy boy home weighing a 5lbs 9 oz and 19 inches long . My experience I will explain in much more detail at another time was not what we had expected but that just seems as that the way life has been thrown at us these days . I had a perfectly healthy C section the placenta came off the uterus wall as normal and I still have my uterus too !!! But during my recovery time it went for a turn for the worse I lost alot of blood and needed my first blood transfusion . We then went from bad to worse quite quickly and managed to get stable and remain stable to be able to make it home sweet home . I have learned alot during my stay and have grown as a person as a woman and as a mom . I have so much to be grateful for and so so many people to appreciate even more now. I will continue to gain more energy and get back to blogging soon enough in the mean time I just felt I needed to update you all . I have received emails from some of my blog readers and so thrilled that I have so many people following my story and really glad to hear from you . It shocked me to know so many of you were reading but also thinking of me and my family too . It really truly means so very much to me . I did manage to save some of my thoughts and days in a journal and so plan on sharing some of those as future blog posts . Now I must get back to enjoying life with the people I love most as life is way too short and I have so much to catch up on . And too be quite honest with you all my breasts feel like they all ready to explode so better go feed a hungry baby .

Happy Fathers Day

Missing Isabelle she was napping and then ripping around all day that I never did get a picture of her with her dad and Dman is not home but Jeremy did receive a phone call in the morning from him.

I {HEART} this man for tolerating all us women in this house daily . Playing with the girls even if that means barbies . I love the way he tries so hard to do all the girlie things for  the girls when mom is not around Pony tails & pig ears AKA pig tails , tights and dresses etc .
I love the way that he cuddles them and never forgets to give  "the kiss goodbye " when he leaves the house .
I love how Izzy follows dada around when he enters a room & Addy would do any thing with dad and  that he is so proud that she managed to last the whole task with him without complaining or be done . Such as combining or field checking or whatever it maybee she is interested in sticking it out .Daddy's little farm girl .
I love that the girls can sit watch sports with there dad right to the end with the cheering and clapping right along with him .
I love that him  & Dman can talking forever on the phone
I love that he knows just how to make each of our kids smile or laugh .
He is our everything !
