She keeps us on our toes . She was our second girl but always had thinking twice as she is nothing like her sister . We love the extra energy she has around here and love her to death .

-calls pig tails "pig ears " cause pigs have two ears but only one tail (logical)

-she sings her little heart out in the car (I love this but don't dare look she a little shy )

-She could eat cereal for three meals a day

-She loves school and would go every day if she could has even cried on a snow day

-misses her brother so much that she has had night terrors triggered by her night thoughts of him (something we are trying to figure it out )
-she grinds her teeth while sleeping
-her fave toys to play with are her little people , potato head , her doll house ,barbies and her kitchen set .I could seriously throw everything else out and she would be content( I have thought of doing this too)
-she is the BEST traveller ever !!!!

-loves to be outside
-{hearts} being on the combine and has been known to be on it for 8-9 hours straight without driving her dad crazy


She is our everything drives us crazy some days but would not give her up for the world . Hard to believe she was not on the charts as a baby and had some much trouble health wise ,but now she is doing great !!!

Higher mom......

We had firsts for our girls and good memories of home for me . We took our kite outside and flew it . Its quite a feeling flying a kite and when its up there and you are at the end of it time kinda stands still . It definitely puts a SMILE on any one's face . It a moment of pride , accomplishment  and freedom . You kinda feel like you are at the end of the string too . I kinda forgot about flying kites with my dad down at the Bow Valley Park until now. I don't remember if it was often or not but I do remember . I remember his technique and still works great now . The girls were amazed by it . Addy was concerned that the airplane going by was going to hit it. We even had it higher then some birds flying by . As a parent we must remember it not always about the big moments but the little ones .

Sorry we were having oh so much fun I did not take any pictures but I will assure you there will be more kite flying in our future for sure .

A Bright Bright Sunny Day

I had a great day I love the feeling have a good day from start to finish . I was mommy helper at Addy's school for the second time which I love to do I find joy in it . It brings me back to the days of me being preschool teacher and taking care of kids in my family childcare home . Never a dull moment can't really have a bad day even if its hairy scary day someone little will say something that will bring a smile to your day guaranteed . We had a quick lunch and both of my girls had a nap which is rare and golden . Promise is a Promise in our house . So I had promised the girls that we would go outside after they would wake up . well we end up staying outside all night long only to come in to eat salmon off the BBQ , corn on the cob and rice . Then back outside we went . Have some exciting stuff to share with you all but will safe that for a later post HINT . Did alittle pre picking??? You know Canadian picker ...well I will share soon .
Hubby stayed outside until all hedges got trimmed and Addy stayed right along side him driving the gator around the farm yard .They both reported in at 9:45 pm . Now I am not the crazy lady that lets my kids stay up to all hours but we have nothing to really do tomorrow and I was not ruining a good thing .

I am HAPPY here because ................

it is a place I can grow old with my hubby .

it is a place we can make our own at our pace .

its a place our kids can appreciate and love.

both our families our close to us.

its our forever home .

I found myself not long ago surrounded by negative energy which I had found I was becoming a big ball of negative energy myself and not liking that ME ,so have been finding ways to filter the negative energy out and change the way I deal with it . So it does not effect my whole day . SO I found a few things that work and find when I don't let or have time for those few things daily it all goes down hill from there . I use my gratitude journal daily just a line a day more if I have time of the positive things or the things that made my day easier . Spend a half hour a day for me . WHATEVER it may be a cup of tea , some craft time , hot bath , solo shower (saying that I mean without the girls as they have been loving have a shower so the sound of water has them running down the hall naked) reading a book ,some computer time reading my fave blogs , or a sweet treat in a dark room by myself (LOL) anything that gives you peace . Make time for your family or kids everyday . Something that gives your 100% attention .YES I mean turn off the phone whether its the house phone or cell or any other electronic device . Do something that gives you both a moment in time that refreshes you . A play outside , craft time , drawing a picture together or anything that gives them full attention without counting down minutes or seconds to when its done . ENJOY the time .
Just a thought of the day to keep a SMILE on your face a little longer during the day . But don't forget we all have those days too . So a bad days will not all be gone .

Reality check

So I so thought a summer pregnancy would be fantastic after having two winter ones I was so looking forward to it . Here was my visions . I would be barefoot pregnant  with dirt between my toes and all my kids running free exploring our farm yard for bugs , frogs and snakes . We would be outside until dark comes upon us ,then we would hose everyone down fed and bed. And do it all over again the next day . Well as it may seem my summer may bring me to bed rest . UGH !!!!!POOF vision gone . SO I hope that I can enjoy some of my summer and not ruin my kids summer on top of it too. Last doctor appointment I had been told that I have placenta previa . So I need to take it easy to keep our little man in the oven long enough for everything to properly develop .

EASTER EGGS

I love decorating Easter eggs oh so much !!!!

This year we did the good ole vinegar ,water and food coloring .

Then used vegetable oil to rub in them to give them a super glossy look .

A tip I found somewhere online . (not sure where exactly )

We use crayons and masking tape to do different effects . The kids loved it too. (not just me )

Top 10 Important things to ME .

TOP 10 things important to me and all that you have missed out since the last post .

1.FAMILY. I love when we are all together and cannot wait for our little man to arrive when hes suppose .

2. Friends. To have good ones that will do anything for you when needed and you can always have a good time with them

3.Moments. All the in between things that happen not the big things but the little ones .

4. Food good wholesome food and able to feed my family like I like too.

5.Fun, crafts, activities ,projects ,outdoors ,sports,school and all the good things we do  .

6.Time . The time we are given and what we do with it .

7.Home . That has been turning into a home not a house that someone else lived in but our home .

8.Photos . To capture most of these moments when we are all together .

9.Love . All the love that we get and give our children and also have surrounding us by others .

10. My husband. That stands by me in all these times when I am at my worst and best and he is still here with me .

These are all the things that I have been doing so pardon my absence .

But I am back .

FAMILY TIME

SORRY for lack of posts but we have our WHOLE family together its been since Christmas the last time we were together . Its amazing how we can see each other growing . We have been so busy . We have been enjoy the fresh air , have been being creative , silly , serious and everything in between  too.
Family means so much to me . I love having our immediate family all together all 5 soon to be 6 of us . It energizes me , I sit back and love it every  moment it even the crazy my hair is turning grey by the minutes times too (maybe not at the time but later I have grown from it ).I love hearing the kids giggle or Dman reading to the girls or the silly secrets ,all the love ( my kids are lovers) ,footsteps big and small , bath time its my fave time of day , car rides as we sing our lungs out , board games , and every other little thing . I wish we had more time together but we always make the most of the time we are given . I am proud to say these kids are growing up so fast and I can see my hubby and me in them more and more everyday .
I love the fact that we are filling these little peoples heads with all the knowledge they need to make it through this big world. That they need the love , encouragement , discipline , courage , strength , hope , challenges ,the chance to have accomplishments ,experiences ,life lessons , and their own feelings .
I am so glad to have a dear friend that knows how much this means to me and ALWAYS captures my family the way I know them and will always want to remember them by . She has truly been a blessing to our family and I always look forward to our photo shoot with her . Once again she did not disappoint me at all . I love that I can look back in the 3 years of pictures she has taken for us and cherish everyone of them . Check out our latest photo shoot here .
