HAPPY BIRTHDAY Addyson !

It was 4 years ago I had you .Surprising all of us early as I had a C section date booked but I guess you were not willing to wait . So on a cold cold evening we had our first princess . We were so happy to have you join our family while your brother was have a visit with us(one of the reasons we suspect that you decided to come early ) .

a few things about you now .

-love listening to music and singing

-you don't like mushrooms or fish

-skating skills have amazed me

- so into books its crazy

-are a great BIG sister most days

-have a Strong ability to want to learn or a least try

-love driving the gator all around the farm until the battery dies

-enjoy your music class very much

-are a peace maker

-turning into a young lady

-like your quiet time building legos , playing barbies or with your play mobil stuff

-scared of bugs

-loud noises or voices seem to bother you

-you love marshmallows ,cereal ,pizza , pot roast and spaghetti and meatballs

-you are usually not shy

-enjoy people and will meet new people almost any where you are
-love to swim

-you love spending a work day with your dad

-well mannered

-thoughtful

I love that you are growing up but it does make me sad too as it much too fast for my liking !

Hand Delivery

Addy , Vann and I went door to door hand delivering Addys birthday invites .We went from Tilston to Pierson to Gainsborough to Carnduff to Oxbow . So cannot wait for the party !

Raw

This is pretty raw looking picture of me today(sweat ,crazy bed head,no makeup ) too raw for color . LOL. I am definitely struggling this week keep up with the workout as I am solo parenting and have sick kids that are keeping me up pretty much all night long but I am stomping through it . A few tips to share with you . Just do it . Nike is so right just keep moving and don't stop . If you want to do really do it you have to . There will be a a excuse waiting at your bedside each and every morning .I will promise you that . But get up and do it almost every time when you are done you will be so glad you did it .Trust me you really do .

Warm up even if you don't think you have time .Just do it . You will pay for this later if you don't .Trust me .

Drink lots of water .

Don't skip two days in a row its liking starting all over .

You will be happy to keep moving !!

I saw Tommy .

I am very excited to say that I met Tommy Smythe from Sarah's House this weekend at Winnipeg's Kitchen ,Bath and Renovating Show . I took my new copy of Canadian House and Home where he was on the fold out front cover and got it signed ,then got a quick photo with him as well. I was so very glad and grateful to have my family so patience while I took this all in .It was a great experience for myself and I loved the presentation he put on with all the hints he shared with decorating and renovating .

Date Night

Our first date night of 2012 . I hope to have more of these to keep on top of our hopes , dreams and tasks for the year .
First of all for all you alittle comparsion on what date night means with children and without children .Ready for a laugh or two .
Date Night with Children now means
-lining up a babysitter willing to watch three children or four if everyone is home .
-pumping milk so you can leave baby
-having( no joke) the IKEA reusable bag full of stuff such as bottles and baby cereal etc , pj's, extra panties for girlie in potty training, bibs, lotions as my children have sensitive skin , inhaler , extra winter clothes , skate bag for oldest lessons , and list is really quite endless.
-try to find your "good" underwear now ladies with children you know what I mean once that do not have the elastic wore out or ripped , not the maternity once you are still wearing cause they are comfy ,or the ones that are so see through really whats the point . Now for any mother that has children if you have not have this problem when do you find or I guess make the time to shop for under garments cause I must say its my least favorite thing to do .
-taking the breast pump on the date so I am not ready too explode before I get home
-Finding a purse to use on the date as I have been using a diaper bag since well almost four years now
-oh and yes now date night starts at 4:00 so we can beat the crazy supper crowd as I am not good with crowds (point out we are going out Tuesday Night big supper crowd HEHE...)I will also admit that we were at home with kids and in bed and tucking ourselves in by 9:45 pm . Besides little man was fussy so that so not the end of our night but most definitely the end of Date night .
Once we got the kids dropped off must admit it was great night of catching up with the radio off all the way down to Minot . No kids crying or fighting !We enjoyed a great meal at the Olive Garden with dessert . (White chocolate raspberry cheesecake was yummo !!)
I must say after we did drop kids off I may of suggested that we go home and have a quiet nap but glad we didn't . After supper we headed to good ole Target for some much needed underwear sadly no ,but maybe next time . But did get some new workout clothes !So it was nice to not have children with me in the change room though and wandering a round target with two free hands was amazing too !!!
Now to date night before kids .....well usually you don't leave til 9:30ish pm and get home in the am too . Is there such thing as bad under wear then either . Purses match the outfit. Instead of breast pump its usually Push Up bra.
UNTIL next date night.

DAY 3

of intense 45 minute working out , actually today seemed to be alittle more relaxed as I was able to bundle the little kids up and walk/jog outside today . The weather is awesome today . Sunshine ,light breeze and 7 .Yes that's right . There was no snow nor ice on the highway today all has melted so I was able to boogie on the highway with no worries of any winter danger . It was wonderful got this picture at my half way point and water break for us all .

I would first like to say Welcome to 2012 .
And here we go again .... LOL
Seems as if I new year starts and we think it will all change and we can get all those things started ,finished , become someone new , do something new , change something around us or even ourselves so with that said . YES you can , but yes theres a but we have to be the ones to create the change in our our lives ...sadly but very true there is no New Year fairy that comes down on us sprinkling pixie dust on us too change . You have to want it bad enough to make it happen for you .
So yes you know me a list .
Here's my hopes .
-to keep beefing up my photography skills for myself (well and the perks of that happen to benefit my friends and family too )
-get daily physical activity in mine but hopefully my whole families life's too
-this is more of finishing off my turning 3o list but do train and do a 5k (thank goodness I suckered a friend into doing this with me as I think it keeps us both motivated )
-Enjoy my spring and summer on this farm (as this becomes our second year here I have not had the opportunity to take advantage fully of what my farm has to offer us for spring and summer )
-Memory keeping is my TOP priority this year and I know I do this in little ways but I mean big time this year as part of this I want to be in front of the camera too .(this summer with the birth of my son and possibility of not making it has effected my life greatly in a good way )
-another one that I would like me but as well as my family is to stop to smell the roses as they are passing by us alittle more often
-the best care of myself on a daily basis inside and out
So that is the basic list of things to do in 2012 !!!
