HAPPY Wonderful GREAT

Weekend was had this past weekend was one of the most relaxing , fun  and enjoying weekends I must say I have had in a long time .
BONUS part it included all of my children with us.
Another Bonus was these pictures I got of the four of them together.

            I have so many reason to be grateful and I must say that these four are right on top of that list .

                                           Hope you all had a great thanksgiving weekend too.

Lovely Little Lady

I had a great opportunity to take this lovely little lady picture today .

She was a doll and was willing to work with the crazy winds we get here in Manitoba . It was very crazy winds no joke.

Her mom and her have not saw all the pictures yet due too some technical difficulty on my end . So this is all I am going share for now. .

I want to remember days like these.....

I want to remember the day started out frantic  and unorganized .
I want to remember the sun shone .
I want to remember Addy wore a dress with no fight .
I want to remember that today I sent Izzy with her papa K on the semi while I took Addy to her 1st day of music.
I want to remember that Vann behaved himself like a perfect gentlemen during Addy's class.
I want to remember what it was like listening to Addy tap out her first little song on the keyboard today for the first time.
I want to remember picking up a bag of apples from my moms and the smell it left us on the drive home.
I want to remember the feeling of the sun on my face while driving home.
I want to remember that after lunch I put Vann down to bed the girls and I piled into our bed . WE read Addys school book and all drifted off to never land in a big monkey pile. (with dishes not done or laundry not caught up ..) it felt so good. Note to self do that way more often .
I want to  remember the feeling of being FRESH and full of energy when we woke up .ready to tack the world.... or at least the dishes and laundry .
I want to remember heading outside and the sun was still shining and we dug out as many potatoes as my wheel barrel could handle .
I want to remember Addy teaching Izzy how to handle the water hose while water the trees.
I want to remember how gentle Sasha is with my children as she kissed Vann on the cheek and then sat beside him like she was guarding him with her  live.
I want to remember that Addy wore her tights and dress in the garden .
I want to remember Izzy pouting when Vann wouldn't share the kids hoe in the garden .
I want to remember it all and more . These are the memories I will lose if I do not keep track of them some where and this is why I  BLOG and have memory books because sometimes a picture doesn't say a thousand words .

Day 2 of Dance

 She maybe looks tired after this day of dance ,but she did say I go back to dance mom .

She did pick her outfit too right down to the shoe.

This is my rug ...

I bought this rug from Zellers at Brandon and nearly had to fight a women for the last one. I had my heart set on it for the cabin a few days before you know a regret purchase" I regret " that I didn't buy it . well there was 4 left then a few days returning for eye appointments I went back and there was one.As I was rolling it up a woman decided she wanted it too . I ensured her I was taking it and had a "perfect" spot for it  .I am glad I got it .

Cabin LIFE

 hubby pressure washed the deck and stained it.

 Brought Sasha on her first cabin trip and she loved it  plus behaved .

We ate some good grub on a hot fall day .

This is sometimes what happens when I go to the city . My seat looks like this . Found a few more thrift stores that where new to me today . Some treasures are coming home with me .

Back 2 School

 1st day of back to school Addy could not be more happy then to get back to the grind.

 It was very chilly day out compared to what we had been use to .

 Decided she did not want a new back pack this year cause her's was not "old " yet !

BFF once again and probably forever unless maybe a boy becomes between them . LOL hopefully that is light years away though.

GOT TOMS ?

I had ordered us our TOMS well I was the only one that kept mine as I had ordered both of the girls way too BIG . But I am super pumped about mine. I have reordered the girls too. They were super cute. They are getting the Mary Jane style.

Day 1 of Dance

my little princess has decided to start dance class. Which makes me happy as I once upon a time was a dancer too.

Priceless Picture

I have been sharpen up my photography skills by taking online classes to keep me learning and trying different things , but to actual learn is by doing . So I practised on these cuties . 

This was my FAVE  group shot . To get this picture everyone looking and smiling at these ages was  plain lucky .(or maybe it had something to do with the glasses and nose with mustache I had on too . )

September reminds me of

sadly wish book seems to have made its way here already ,
salted caramel latte @ Starbucks is back ...  ,

Off to see the Wizard

These cuties and scary grandma were off to a Halloween dance . My mom rocks she last minute decided to take the older grand kids to a dance and made all their costumes . The lion and Dorothy were purchases with a lot of altered parts to customize the details.They all had a blast and also won Best Group costumes the kids were over the moon excited about that and are still talking about that they WON !!!

Hello October

Holy WOW was that not the kick a$$ way to bring in October with tank top weather . Gotta love starting a day with long sleeves but ending wearing a tank . This month is one of my fave months . I {LOVE} fall and super {LOVE} Halloween !!! So bring it on . I am starting a online photography course on Monday so with that happening and really want that to happen . You all know what I mean you start something but are either not able or life puts it on the back burner or you do not think you are worth it . This photography class is for me . I am making it happen ,so what am I going to do to make sure it happens the way on want it to for me . Make the time for it and me . On Mondays for the 6 weeks I have the course going on I am taking the girls to the sitters house and spending the day on my assignments as well as on the other end of my camera in the way I never have time for . I bought a expensive camera to capture the life moments in a way I envision them in my head I want to freeze them in time to remember forever , but having the camera does get you the pictures . Like I always tell my kids Practise Practice and more practice . The work makes a great end result .I will Be the student and do the work to get the result I know I can . We have a wedding to attend , planning a girls night , hoping I can have a basement 90% done to host a Halloween Party here , doing Creative Tables again with a friend , and trying to get the outside yard ready for old man winter and get everything put away . I plan on using the photography course to help me kick start and really keep to doing a complete Project life album . So October 1st marks the first day to my project life with my first picture being my family I want to take a picture a month of us full body picture that in some way will show you the season or time of year it is and will keep a tab on us in the way we are growing together and growing up .

Good Bye September

Well September has come and gone . Here's what we have been up too . School has started back for Addy Wednesday and Music For Young children back on Thursdays.This means routine routine and more routine needs to be part of our lives . I have been keeping up a Supper meal plan on my chalk board door which has been making life doable .One to two crock pot meals a week are a mamas BFF. Baking and freezing it for healthy snacks (muffins) or a sweet treat (cookies ) have been a huge help too .Still working hard on our flooded basement put back . It is coming together . I have been back on the band wagon of keeping moving and about four days a week in our dark creepy basement in the early morning I am running my heart out on the elliptical hoping to get back in shape mostly to beable to give my best self to my family as well as keep up to them but to feel good about me and proud . For anyone that says I don't have time .You make time because more time does not just appear . What else have we been doing this month .We did Black Eyed Peas concert , held a multi family garage sale while Addy had a Pink lemonaid stand with all proceeds going to Because I am a Girl , Rider Game in Regina , both my preschool board commitments and my husbands rink board commitments have began again , my first niece born , birthday parties , doctor appointments , and needles for little kids . A sad good bye to Sept but very excited to Welcome October too !!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

A few highlights of our time at Oak Lake Pumpkin Patch .This has been come a Family Tradition for my family every year and to come home with a pumpkin that each of us picked out ourselves to carve later on .This year my sister had Rhetts 5th birthday there ,so we all had a good time celebrating with him .

2 Months

WOW times really does fly by seeing how I missed out on his first month photo I was not missing out this time around ,so a day early keeping track of our little man . Here are the many faces of our little man VANN.

- very strong for a wee man

- weighing in at 7lbs 6oz

- pretty tough to make it through the very "tight " love the girls are constantly giving him

- he had his first doctor visit and she was very impressed by our little man

- blue eyes are really showing now (yah my first blue eyed babe )
