 She maybe looks tired after this day of dance ,but she did say I go back to dance mom .

my little princess has decided to start dance class. Which makes me happy as I once upon a time was a dancer too.

She is one fine helper when it comes helping me do up the little kids buckles or undoing them . Helping me distract one of the other kids to make the last few minutes of a drive home . Always making sure I have locked the doors and have the keys.

I love the relationship my girls have its unbelievable they are each others rocks at the best of times .This is one of my new fave pictures of them (that I took )

Izzy was not looking at the camera .I asked the girls to look at the camera and smile oh so big and Izzy was not cooperating ,so Addy turned to her and said Izzy say cheese and mama will get you a treat ,but also take note to where Addy has her hand .

Back to School

Happy Fathers Day

(this two were off to church for kids day. Izzy and I stayed home to rest )

Missing Isabelle she was napping and then ripping around all day that I never did get a picture of her with her dad and Dman is not home but Jeremy did receive a phone call in the morning from him.

I {HEART} this man for tolerating all us women in this house daily . Playing with the girls even if that means barbies . I love the way he tries so hard to do all the girlie things for  the girls when mom is not around Pony tails & pig ears AKA pig tails , tights and dresses etc .
I love the way that he cuddles them and never forgets to give  "the kiss goodbye " when he leaves the house .
I love how Izzy follows dada around when he enters a room & Addy would do any thing with dad and  that he is so proud that she managed to last the whole task with him without complaining or be done . Such as combining or field checking or whatever it maybee she is interested in sticking it out .Daddy's little farm girl .
I love that the girls can sit watch sports with there dad right to the end with the cheering and clapping right along with him .
I love that him  & Dman can talking forever on the phone
I love that he knows just how to make each of our kids smile or laugh .
He is our everything !

                I spent my Mothers Day weekend with this group of wonderful women .

What a inspiring bunch we had attend our 2nd annual Scrap Away Retreat held in Glen Ewen this year . I will share more details with you all real soon .

She keeps us on our toes . She was our second girl but always had thinking twice as she is nothing like her sister . We love the extra energy she has around here and love her to death .

-her fave toys to play with are her little people , potato head , her doll house ,barbies and her kitchen set .I could seriously throw everything else out and she would be content( I have thought of doing this too)
-she is the BEST traveller ever !!!!

She is our everything drives us crazy some days but would not give her up for the world . Hard to believe she was not on the charts as a baby and had some much trouble health wise ,but now she is doing great !!!

You never know what might be around the next corner.

We have started potty training with Izzy so some days this is how it goes . I will go into more details about potty training at our house .

But Step 1 is going very well. We have three successful poop on toilet and four and half successful pees ,as that's a half . OOPS !! (accidents happen )

Our girl does not like the potty she likes  the toilet that can make it more difficult later for sure.

Painting

I let the girls paint this morning together . Addy has painted quite often actually probably weekly its one of those at the kitchen table activities that get done while I do dishes as I do dishes by hand as we have not decided on a dishwasher or the placement of where it would actually go in the kitchen . since we had a dishwasher in the past I had never counted for all the time it takes to wash ,dry and put away dishes can be especially when you bake . So I had to find a way where the girls were in my line of sight so I could get them done daily . I have decided a little independent craft time at the table was my best solution . So today was Izzy's first time painting solo . She did very well even though she ate some paint .(thank goodness for non toxic paint options)Hubby actually could not believe that was her picture when he got home maybe a artist someday .

Just because ...

he loves us . Hubby has been gone every week from Monday -Friday since the new year with AG shows , meetings ,and etc. So On his way home he picked these up for us girls . I think the little girls were more excited to see them then me.

Valentines is reflected on my children and we do special stuff for them . We have tradition of having a Valentines Scavenger hunt every Valentines since well its been 4 years now. I make up clues that have the kids running up and down the stairs and usually at each new clue there is a special surprise waiting to be found . Addy was without her brother for the first time. (so the clues were a little easier )

This was me and my girls after having our Steak and Lobster supper that we made for daddy followed by our scavenger hunt and to finish it off we decorated cookies then ate them for dessert.

The happenings of a Saturday .

This is how I wake up to my kitchen on most mornings.. who am I trying to kid anyhow . Every morning .

We try to spend most of our evening with our kids . So the table is left a mess but I don't really mind . I enjoy having my morning tea while cleaning up .



I started our Saturday morning by feeding my family something I know everyone will eat .

FRENCH TOAST . Yummy . And seeing how you can see my reflection in my kettle I would consider this a self portrait as well .LOL.
I then I dressed the girls up in hopes to take a few pictures of them as I still have not got there 1 and 3 year old pictures done yet . Lack of poor communicating (on my part )with friend / photographer these days . Really need to get these done before this next babe appears . Here are a few pictures I got though.

This girl can FAKE cry to laugh in seconds . We are going to have our hands full when she is older .
So this day took a last minute curve to head to Minot to pick up a few Reno things and I picked up a few groceries . So no mini photo shoot for my girls today . We will try again .

I went to find Addy to tell her we are going shopping and this is where I found her.

Then I headed back upstairs to find Izzy doing this and quite proud of herself too. The life of a mom.

Sugar on a stick

Literally sugar on a stick was what  I was making for a  Pinkalicious treat for the girls party .Hope the other parents don't mind there kids will be falling from a high sugar rush after this party . It was really simple to do , inexpensive as well  and went along quite smoothly since I waited to make them while the girls went to bed .

I used large marshmallows , pink chocolate (bought at hobby Lobby), lollipop sticks ,and candy sprinkles.

                                                            High on sugar but oh so fun .

My silly monkey

well J took Addy on a road trip today to pick up Dman ,so I was left with our silly little monkey .So I tried to get a few shots of her today . This is what I got . From one extreme to the next .

Needless to say today was not a good day for pictures. TEETH were kinda making us miserable . But it was nice to spend a day with my babe and hopefully those DAMN teeth come out . UGH.
