Belly touch
I have never really got the belly touch and still don't appreciate it at a spontaneous moment I shall say . What right is it to anyone to randomly come up to you and feel it OK to do the belly touch . REALLY ?!?! Just because I have a little life in there gives no reason to get the belly touch . I would not randomly go up to you and touch your belly and if i did would that be OK and would you be fine with it. What really gets me is the stranger belly touch if its not bad enough people you love and know feel it OK to do a random belly touch at last minute urge with no warning but for a complete stranger to do . UGH . No belly touching for me or at least ask and not ask while already touching . If you ever watched the movie The Diary of a Wimpy Kid the cheese touch is much the same as "THE BELLY TOUCH " Just don't do it unless otherwise told . I should really market a Tshirt for this . How do you feel about the random unannounced Preggo belly touch ??

I am 100% with you. I have a personal space issue on the best of days and add in pregnancy hormones it was not a good idea to touch my belly if you were a stranger or not! I am not a toucher either, not only because I think it is rude but moving baby bellies freak me out!! My sister (due in July) was trying to get me to feel the baby move the other night and ugh...no thanks. I will do all the cuddling in the world when he is out!
ReplyDeleteLachalle you made me smile when I read this post. I agree with you. I don't touch other ladies preggo bellies so why did they need to touch mine? I avoided most of this during my first and second pregnancy by dressing in very loose clothes so people wouldn't know I was pregnant, but then I thought "why should I hide it?" I enjoyed being pregnant and everything that came with it, but just didn't want random people touching my belly. Thanks for your speak your mind honesty! It always cheers me up that someone is thinking the same thing as me : )
